Changes to the USA Pro Supermoto Series
Event Format!
Race weekend modifications aimed at
a more affordable and flexible schedule.
4.28.2012 Mountain View, CA.
- In an ongoing effort to help make the all new
USA Pro Supermoto series affordable for all the
competitors while still providing an exciting race
weekend, USA Pro is announcing some simple but
significant changes to the event schedule for all the
series stops.
1. To help minimize tire costs, there will be no
practice on Friday. Friday will now be a
"load-in" date for all competitors and vendors.
Saturday will remain as a Practice and Qualifying day
featuring two practice sessions and one timed Qualifying
session to set the grid for Race #1 on Sunday.
2. To help keep tires costs down and still provide an
exciting "double-header" event format, Sunday will be a
TWO MAIN EVENT format and not the
previously scheduled three main event format. This will
serve to help make the day more flexible for Stunt and
FMX shows as well as minimizing tire costs.
Stay tuned for this and more updates as they will become
available here and on the USA Pro Supermoto website
during this coming week!
If you are up at
Infineon Raceway for the West Coast MotoJam next weekend, May 4,5,6 stop on by the USA Pro Supermoto booth up at the Karting Facility where the
SupermotoUSA Pro-Am action will be taking place and say
wazzzup! |
